IBM Claims To Have Achieved “Quantum Supremacy” With New Chip

While there has been a lot of hype surrounding quantum computing, no company has yet achieved “quantum supremacy” convincingly.

IBM (International Business Machines) has claimed that it has achieved true “quantum supremacy” with its “Eagle” processor, which the company believes will be able to outperform conventional computer chips within the next 24 months.
